About the Quarry

The addition of our four new rock quarry holes designed by renowned architect Bobby Weed has set Brooksville Country Club apart from the crowd.

Our par four twelfth hole allows you to choose to down drive into the quarry with a difficult uphill second shot, or you can choose to drive across the ravine to a narrow and undulating landing area along the rim of the quarry followed by a downhill approach shot to a well-bunkered green.

The par four thirteenth hole plays through the heart of the rock quarry. From an elevated tee high atop the quarry, big hitters can attempt to drive the massive waste bunker narrowing the fairway below leaving an uphill second shot through a narrow opening in the quarry to a deep-elevated green.

The Legendary Quarry

The par three fourteenth hole requires you to carry your tee shot up the steeply descending walls of the gorge-like ravine to a plateau green on an outcropping on the opposite side, a harrowing challenge awaits the golfer who challenges the sheer drop off protecting the left side of the green.

Finally, the seventeenth hole, a short par three, begins high atop the quarry rim and ends on a small outcropping of green down below in the basin of the quarry, guarded in the front by a large lake and from behind by the sheer limestone walls of the quarry. Playing at 145 yards it provides an excellent birdie opportunity for the golfer who hits this challenging green.
